As the founder of Fábula, I want to welcome you and share a bit of my background. I’m extremely passionate about the healing arts and natural medicine, a lover of humanity (and animals), a seeker of truths, and an ingredient geek. On my journey to explore holistic skincare and nutrition, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience that I am honored to impart in order to help you achieve life-changing radiance and wellbeing.

Fábula allows me to integrate all my expertise into my own specialized practice. I chose the name—meaning “story” in Latin—because my approach to skincare, beauty, nutrition and wellness requires an understanding of my clients’ unique stories, their personal histories. I get such joy from accompanying my clients on their paths of discovery, delving into their backgrounds in order to help them flourish inside and out. They often come to me seeking to eliminate acne, reduce brown spots or deter the aging process, but wind up also learning so much about dealing with their individual vulnerabilities and health issues. Before founding Fábula in 2004, I spent 9 years at Bliss in New York City, catering to an exacting, celebrity-studded clientele (Cindy Crawford, Demi Moore, Ashley Judd, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Julianne Moore all regulars), so I’m very familiar with today’s high standards of beauty. But I also expanded my learning in other directions, with a goal of understanding of how wellness of the mind and spirit can affect the body—a truly holistic approach. I am now a board-certified Holistic Health Coach, accredited by the Association of Drugless Practitioners; a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition affiliated with Columbia University; a certified massage therapist in the ancient Thai practice of Nuad-Bo Rarn; and a licensed medical esthetician, informed on all the latest cosmetic enhancements and open to helping anyone who wants to incorporate natural healing in conjunction with more invasive procedures. A registered yoga instructor- certified with Yoga Alliance. I received my training at the Stone Center for Yoga & Health in NJ.

In addition to the affiliations mentioned above, I am a member of the National Cosmetology Association, affiliated with Esthetics America/Cidesco USA, the world's leading international association of beauty therapists; and a member of the National Coalition of Estheticians, which helps to set national standards for the skincare industry. I belong to the American Humane Association and volunteer for the Look Good Feel Better organization, helping cancer patients cope with the appearance-related side effects of their disease.
